"Less sugar for better health"

“Less sugar for better health” is our new campaign for raising people’s awareness of the effects sugar produces on their health. Vitalia has alertly followed and implemented the WHO recommendations aiming at reducing sugar levels in alimentary food. Because of that, we have started this new campaign alongside which we created a new range of products without any added sugar, and we have initiated the process of reducing sugar levels in the other products as well by maintaining their specific well-known taste. Vitalia has been developing products which cater for the tastes and needs of all our categories of consumers by taking care of their health as well. The most original product of the new variety of products from Vitalia is our Joyful Sweets sweet box - first on the market without any sugar and 30% less calories. As for our youngest ones, we created the sugar-free children’s Crunchy Muesli for a healthy breakfast.

As part of the campaign “Less sugar for better health”, a number of community activities will be organized. Following our project “5 for Healthy food” for which Vitalia was rewarded the prize 29th November by the City of Skopje, our nutritionists will give educational lectures in primary and nursery schools. In this fashion, we want to make our contribution creating healthy eating habits among the kids at an early age. In the meanwhile, Vitalia has taken care of the children-patients at the Clinics for Oncology, the children with special needs, as well as the children in the SOS children’s village. Packets with unique sugar-free products from Vitalia will be donated to all them.

We are also taking part in marking the World Diabetes Day on the 14th November and the Macedonian Diabetes Association organization itself.

Also, with the aim of spreading the message among the youth, we are organizing a variety of interesting events in renowned café bars in Skopje.
