Pumpkin Seeds

Pumpkin seeds contains 43% polyunsaturated fatty acids (Omega 6) and 14% Omega-3, 36% monounsaturated fatty acids and 8% saturated fatty acids, 24% protein, carbohydrates, minerals, zinc, potassium, iron and vitamins of B group.

The fatty acids are necessary for good vision, concentration, regulation of cholesterol levels in the blood, for good immunity and active metabolism. Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids present in the pumpkin seeds are also necessary during diets, they clean the skin and protect the heart.

Usage: 50g pumpkin seeds meet 1/2 of the required daily amount of amino acids in an average adult weight. For healthy kidneys and prostate eat 200-250 grams of ground fresh pumpkin seeds mixed with honey.

Pumpkin seeds can be consumed as whole or ground in cereal meals, muesli, bread and pastries for enriching their nutrition and taste.
